December: Milestones & Christmas Miracles
We kicked off the festive season with more than just tinsel. December was a month of big achievements—both for our team and our showroom.
The Graduate: We officially have a marketing pro in the building! Huge congrats to Jay for finishing his Bachelor of Business (Marketing) degree at RMIT. Watching him cross the stage at Marvel Stadium was a highlight for the whole crew.
The Glow-Up: To get ready for a big 2026, we gave the Nunawading showroom a fresh look with resurfaced floors and walls. It’s looking sharp and ready for your next visit!
The Christmas Eve Dash: At MM Carz, we deliver dreams—even if it’s the 24th of December. Our team member Bobby personally drove 100km to a transport depot to ensure a loyal client received his McLaren Artura in time for Christmas morning. It was the client’s third supercar with us, and we were honored to provide that 110% “white-glove” service.
Back to Roots: Henry took a sentimental journey back to China to reunite with his Class of ’99 junior high friends at Zhengzhong Junior High. Nearly 30 years later, it was a timely reminder of where it all started.
January: Heatwaves & High Trust
January in Melbourne is synonymous with two things: extreme heat and the automotive hustle.
The 43-Degree Sale: They say “do what you love,” but doing it in 43-degree heat is a different story! We handed over a stunning Toyota 86 to a happy customer who braved the record-breaking sun to find “The One.”
Interstate Confidence: Trust is the backbone of what we do. We recently helped a “big brother” from South Australia secure a pristine Toyota FJ Cruiser. He paid in full without ever stepping foot in our showroom—that’s the power of a solid reputation.
The “Fan-Boy” Moment: We were joined by local chinese blogger Ra Ma, whose visit brought a touch of home to the shop. Hearing her soft Wuxi dialect was a treat for Henry and a great reminder of the diverse community that makes the Melbourne car scene so special.
Jay’s Anime Arc: Before the season hit top gear, Jay took a quick “Main Character” detour to Mount Fuji. Between the sushi and the scenery, we suspect he was scouting for hidden drift spots or checking tire pressures on local taxis
February: Tennis, Traditions & Teamwork
As the summer peaked, we focused on celebrating the culture and the people who make MM Carz possible. Sometimes the perfect car isn’t just around the corner, which is why Henry jumped on a flight up to Queensland this February to personally inspect and secure a 2023 black Tesla Model Y. We go where the quality is, even if it means a cross-country trip to make sure our inventory is top-tier for the Melbourne market. Back at the showroom, the Australian Open was the official soundtrack to our month. We had the big screen running Djokovic matches while we prepped deliveries, bringing that world-class Melbourne energy right into the office.
We also took time to celebrate Chinese New Year and reflect on our incredible growth. We’ve gone from a single car to a full inventory and a team where every member holds their own. Our massive team dinner wouldn’t have been complete without Henry taking the stage for some karaoke, giving a heartfelt tribute to the legendary Alan Tam. The celebrations continued off-site when we traded our polos for suits to attend a formal Chinese New Year Gala hosted by CBA.
Ultimately, we closed out the summer exactly how we started it by focusing on people. Whether it’s Jay sharing a meal with a client or a simple handshake over a new set of keys, we stay true to our roots: quality cars, honest service, and zero stress.
