Informazioni su questa auto

Mitsubishi did not update the Outlander for 2022. They started again. The ZM generation arrived looking and feeling like it belonged a segment above its price, and it caught most of its rivals flat-footed.

The proportions are the first thing you notice, all square shoulders and a wide, planted stance. The second is how quiet it is once you are moving. The 2.5-litre petrol four and the CVT are tuned for calm rather than drama, which is exactly the right brief for a car that spends its life on Melbourne school runs and the long drive to the coast.

Inside, the money went where your hands go. The dash is clean and horizontal, the switchgear feels solid rather than hollow, and wireless Apple CarPlay means your phone has connected itself before you have finished doing up your seatbelt.

Safety was clearly the priority. Adaptive cruise, autonomous braking that watches for pedestrians as well as cars, and road sign recognition all come as standard, so the long trips ask a good deal less of you than they used to.

The odometer is the reason this one is priced where it is, and it is worth being plain about that. What you get in return is a 2022 SUV with current safety technology, a genuinely modern cabin, and 18-inch alloys sitting over a full-size alloy spare, for money that usually buys something several years older.

For a buyer who cares more about what a car does than what its odometer reads, this is a lot of recent Mitsubishi for the outlay. It is straightforward, well equipped, and ready to keep doing exactly what it has been doing.

119,000 kilometres in three years suggests the previous owner genuinely enjoyed driving it. We have decided to read that as a reference.
