The rear-wheel-drive setup delivers its 255kW with the immediacy that only an electric drivetrain manages – no build-up, no waiting, just a clean shove from a standstill that makes merging onto the Eastern a non-event. The low-mounted battery keeps the centre of gravity down, so a car this practical corners far flatter than its shape suggests.
Inside, the pared-back cabin has become the thing people either love immediately or spend an afternoon being converted to. Once the initial minimalism stops being a novelty you are left with an enormous glass roof, genuinely comfortable seating for five, and a boot arrangement that keeps swallowing more than seems reasonable.
