เกี่ยวกับรถคันนี้

Two doors will always say something four doors cannot quite manage. The 2017 Mercedes-Benz C300 Coupe makes that statement with absolute elegance, trading the school-run sensibility of a conventional sedan for a sweeping silhouette that turns an ordinary errand into an occasion.

Point it down a flowing back road and the classic rear-wheel-drive balance immediately comes to the fore. The turbocharged 2.0-litre engine pairs with a nine-speed automatic that shifts with barely a murmur, giving you an effortless surge of power when overtaking and settling into a hushed cruise on the highway. It feels taut and composed under your hands without ever punishing you over broken bitumen.

Step inside and the low-slung driving position pulls you in rather than perching you on top. The sculpted front seats hold you comfortably through sweeping bends, while frameless doors give every arrival and departure a satisfying touch of theatre. There is genuine space in the back for two adults on a dinner run, and a surprisingly deep boot that swallows a weekend away for two without negotiation.

For someone stepping out of a sensible family runabout or looking to reward themselves on the daily commute, it strikes an enviable balance. The four-cylinder petrol engine keeps fuel stops pleasantly brief, avoiding the thirst of larger performance engines while retaining the poise and badge prestige of a true Stuttgart grand tourer. It is a luxury car that asks for remarkably little compromise in daily life.

Finished in classic silver over a dark interior, this example has covered just 50,700 kilometres across its life – an easy workload that shows clearly in the freshness of the steering wheel and the immaculate condition of the bodywork. It represents that sweet spot in German luxury where the heaviest depreciation has already been absorbed, leaving you with a machine that looks and feels like it just rolled out of a corporate delivery bay.

Come and spend some time with it at our Nunawading showroom. Walk around it, take in the lines in person, and see how naturally it fits your morning routine.

The two rear seats exist mainly to prove to your friends that you could offer them a lift if you really wanted to, which you almost certainly do not.

All prices displayed exclude government charges.
